We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team in Valencia, CA. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring production schedules are met by coordinating materials, orders, and internal communications. This is a full-time, direct-hire position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a collaborative and fast-paced team.
Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
Coordinate parts delivery and expedite materials to meet production schedules.
Support purchasing efforts, including expediting supplier purchase orders when needed.
Auto-generate and manage manufacturing work orders using ERP systems.
Perform ERP system cleansing and data management.
Release work orders to the warehouse for kit picking and monitor material availability.
Liaise between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages.
Communicate schedule impacts to Sales and other stakeholders.
Monitor and expedite manufacturing builds to meet deadlines.
Prepare reports on production progress, inventory status, and customer orders.
Apply sound judgment within defined procedures and standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning in a related industry.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems (in-depth knowledge preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in standard office software and computer systems.
Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
